The Hunter MFA Interview

One of the pleasures of teaching at Hunter is seeing the stories, novels, poems and essays of our graduates come into the world and connect with an audience who through their reading bring the work to life. To further spread the word of these happy occasions and to offer a deeper look at the content and the making of the work itself, we are introducing the Hunter MFA Interview, an occasional series, wherein a current student has an in-depth conversation with a graduate of the program about a book they've published. I'm thankful to Alisa Prude-Hunt '25 for conducting our inaugural interview with Alejandro about his novel, Loca, which is out now from Simon & Schuster. Enjoy.
